Los Angeles (E! Online) — A long time from now, in a galaxy far, far away…the Star Wars money machine will still be cranking.
Not content with seven feature films or myriad TV spinoffs ranging from the current Clone Wars cartoon series to the dreaded Star Wars Holiday Special, the Jedi masterminds are readying a stage show.
George Lucas has signed off on Star Wars: A Musical Journey, a two-hour live musical event featuring a Stormtrooper kick line and singing Wookiees John Williams’ Oscar-winning score.
How much money does George fucking Lucas really need?
Enough money to make him forget that he’s George Lucas, I’ll bet.

@5: The late Aha! Theatre in B-town did several incarnations of “Star Trek: The Musical” (both TOS & TNG) before Paramount shut them down in the early ,’90’s. My fave was the “Happy James T. Kirk Day!” episode…
Personally though I like Star Wars and Empire films and the first three Indiana Jones movies are good too (but Spielberg directed those films) I still think that his best film ever was American Graffiti.
American Graffiti is the best thing he has ever made and it should be taught in every film class in the world.
