I hear the new streetcar extension to Ballard will go near the Waiting for the Interurban when it’s finished.
Deja vu.
How quaint, Seattle used to have mass public transit!
What a shame.
The Daily Journal of Commerce is what is fucking obsolete
Hey, why can’t I get a flight from Ballard to downtown yet? What’s with that?
I ride my bicycle to work twice weekly on the Interurban Trail. So thank you Interurban Streetcar (and all the city, state, and federal funding that went into creating the Interurban Trail system).
p.s. Fuck you, S.A.M. for fuxoring the Waterfront Streetcar so you could put up that sculpture garden. It’s cool, sure, but so was the streetcar. Couldn’t you and the City have managed to compromise?
@4 – I use my YardChopper5000PersonalAirTransport to get to Tacoma fairly regularly. Downtown? Parking is still a bitch.
@5 ftw. That’s a big Finger to SAM.
No, we still hate you for that.
Don’t forget the Ballard ‘Missing Link’ needs to be completed.
