It’s the Indian navy:
CBS reports:
The Indian navy said Wednesday its warship dedicated to fighting pirates had successfully fought off an attempted pirate attack in the Gulf of Aden, but it was a rare victory in a snowballing battle against Somalia’s emboldened pirates.
Let’s celebrate this “rare victory” with the opening sequence of The Rescuers.
The most important question in the universe:
Who will rescue me?
Who will rescue me?
Who will rescue me?I’m lost at sea without a friend
This journey, will it ever end?Who will rescue me?
Rescue me
Rescue me

They sunk a “mothership”. Which makes me feel kinda sad for the pirates. The pirates lost their mommy!
Time to arm ships with merchant marines and fired Blackwater personnel. Should be trivial to add someting to detect incoming vessels and maybe a couple grenade launchers in the bow and stern.
You cuntlick Charles, I may like you. You’ve reminded of the excrutiatingly long OPENING credits in films, most recently seen in Quantum of Solace. When MGM/Universal/Fine Line ‘rim up on the backside’ of my 5 dollar/hour investment, I’m like “Ooooh, an Art Film!”
The rescuers was such a dreary cartoon. I had the book on tape and it was…just depressing.
The Rescuers Down Under, however, was awesome. Joining Terminator 2 and The Empire Strikes Back as superior sequels.
I hate pirates. Down with pirates.
India has a Navy? Who knew?
Is that photo the entirety of the Indian Navy?
Thank Krishna they didn’t get the Father ship.
Somebody’s navy was going to take up this thing for practice purposes.
The recent uptick in piracy is going to skew the global warming statistics before too long.
What’s next? Rats stealing electrical power from a farmhouse and drugging the cat?
