  1. Collision at Mercer on northbound 5. It’s clear right beyond your view. Appreciate your walk to work, Grant.

  2. A fellow I dated briefly had that view from Olive Tower. After nightfall he’d turn his lights on bright and dance in front of his picture window to admire and refine his moves in the reflection, not caring what the people at El Capitan might think. Unselfconscious Gays I Have Known, fifth in a series.

  3. When I walk to and from work through downtown, all the drivers look angry and completely unhappy. It must be because they live so far away in no-man’s land.

  4. @5, I’m downtown every day, and have to report that during rush hour walkers and bikers look pretty flippin’ grim too. I don’t think most people enjoy their work, much less going to and fro it.

  5. @5 I took the Sound Transit 545 to the burbs every day until I bought a car a few months ago. Believe me when I say that the riders on the bus have the same disposition. I would still be taking the bus though if the carpool lanes weren’t constantly clogged up by HOV lane cheaters. With my carpool I can drive around them but the bus isn’t agile enough.

  6. @15: That was the most random Chaka-Chaka-Chaka-Chaka-Prince-Chaka-Chaka Khan, Chaka Khan moment I’ve ever stumbled into.
