(CNN) — An Israeli patrol boat struck a boat carrying medical volunteers and supplies to Gaza early Tuesday as it attempted to intercept the vessel in the Mediterranean Sea, witnesses and Israeli officials said. The damaged relief vessel Dignity arrives Tuesday in Tyre, Lebanon, after a collision with an Israeli patrol boat.
The boat was carrying boxes of relief supplies, volunteers and journalists to Gaza, the Palestinian territory now subject to an intense Israeli bombing campaign. Among the passengers were physicians from Britain, Germany and Cyprus and several human rights activists, including former U.S. Rep. Cynthia McKinney.
Cynthia McKinney? On a boat heading to Gaza? We can do nothing but admire this knack for turning up in the oddest of places.

I thought the same thing as well last night when I read that article.
Did she feel compelled to punch one of the Israeli officers for blocking her way?
McKinney? There’s your third party, Charles.
Meanwhile, Ralph Nader is somewhere waving a PLO and Israeli flag while calling them both murderers and peacekeepers. And nobody cares…
For the things you can clown Congresswoman McKinney, this is no where NEAR one of them.
I love that the boat is called “Dignity.”
Lol!
These idiots who want peace deserve our ridicule.
Israel must destroy the evil Palestinians. The Stranger is the most Pro-Israel, Pro-War publication in Seattle and as a Jew I am grateful for this great publication.
Keep up the good work in carrying water for Obama’s Middle East war plans. It’s going to be a tough spring with for Israel and America but we will win these wars.
If we could just get the media to stop reporting about ANY news from the Middle East, they might actually have to fix their OWN problems.
Just a thought …
Holocaust Card, where’s that Holocaust card when you need it! Israel can do no evil with that Holocaust Card.
One more reason to admire Cynthia McKinney.
At least she is one American willing to do something helpful in this whole mess. There’s nothing humorous or cynical about the current massacre. Bringing physicians and relief supplies to aid Gaza civilians, is brave beyond what any outraged keyboard brigade can fathom.
True, Canaria, but the Net is not known for being insightful.
