Ukrainian artist Kseniya Simonova won the Ukraine’s version of America’s Got Talent by interpreting the WWII German invasion of Ukraine in sand, on a big light table. It makes a lot of people cry.

What this demonstrates: Ukraine’s got attention span, and the Germans were dicks.

  1. This video is the most important item ever posted on Slog – of course – it will get fewer views than something about shit stains or tepid political controversy.

My Euro family was almost exterminated in WW II, this artist is amazing as she depicts that saga of horror and terror.

And her talent with sand and the sure touch of the artist is riveting.

Three cheers and more – hardly adequate.

  2. So does this version of Got Talent also result in only singers, who just reinterpret others works rather than creating their own, in the finale and the cutting of the majority of acts arbitrarily by the corporate influenced judges.

  3. @10 apparently not since she won. i guess the ukraine actually does have talent. also, call me shallow, but that girl is hot, and a brilliant artist…

  4. Thank you, @11, for mentioning the hotness. Was it political correctness or the gay mafia that allowed such an obvious fact to go unmentioned through 10 comments?
