Um… I wasn’t going to post anything about this. Because, you know, the It Gets Better Project isn’t a contest, TIME, and it’s not about us. But a Korean pop star is kicking our asses. Now I can think of worse things than having my ass kicked by Rain but… um… I’m having a hard time imagining a better thing. Anyway, the HICBIA isn’t having it. So go and vote us up. Right now we only need, oh, about a quarter of a million votes to catch up with Rain.

  2. it’s a good project. it’s just that the many claims (of its influence and it having prevented suicides) made by the fanboys simply can never be proven.

    i’d like Mr. Savage much more if he wasn’t so needy and he didn’t have so many sycophants. it’s a bit odd that someone with so many toadies is still never satisfied, always craving more attention and respect.

    Mr. Savage and (especially) Mr. Miller began a great conversation. that’s enough.

  4. @53: Along those lines, “Infernal Affairs” (2000, “The Departed” was a remake) and “In the Mood for Love” are two other great great films that also just so happen to have hot Asian men in them.

    It also helps that “In the Mood for Love” is maybe the most romantic and atmospheric film ever made.

It’s kind of cute that a fat ugly chick got on TV, nice work, go home. Did anyone actually listen to her singing? At all? I could sing Les Mis in that range better than her and I’m a bass.

  7. Okay Dan, I will vote you up, but there’s no way I’m voting Rain down. He has definitely influenced my life in a positive way, and if you look on any comments on youtube video featuring him, you’ll see that plenty of north american girls agree with me. How can you vote against those abs?

    And Salmon, you’re forgetting all important ‘Lust/Caution” for recommending movies featuring hot Asian male leads. Tony Leung is the man.
