Seattle Police are investigating a break in and attempted arson at Chief Sealth High School in West Seattle, which is currently closed for construction.
On March 17th, police were called to the school after construction workers reported seeing smoke inside the building.
Officers found that a fire had been set inside of a classroom where, according to a police report, a bulletin board and cabinet were “completely incinerated”
The report also says a number of windows and glass doors in the school were shattered, and blood was smeared on walls of several offices and the building’s main entrance.
The damage is estimated at over $100,000

It’s a good thing that teenagers, as opposed to adults, should not be held accountable for their actions (see yesterday’s posts).
Rarely, in the history of teenagers perpetrating such a crime, have they gotten away with it. Kids have big fucking mouths.
When I was a sophomore, I once had to go to Superior Court downtown to identify these two shits from my neighborhood that pulled something similar. The cops came while we were at the school (during the summer, skateboarding) and thought we did it. Ratting those kids out didn’t bother me a bit.
Even at that age, I was totally pissed those kids broke into and trashed our school. And I hated school.
