WWE is quite active with the military I’m pretty sure they do a show over in Iraq and/or Afghanistan once a year or so. Makes sense when you look at who makes up our military and find that so many of them fall into the WWE’s target demographic.
It honestly wouldn’t surprise me if The Rock, wrestling’s biggest superstar in the past 20 years, got a phone call from someone involved in the operation because he’s good friends with them and they wanted to brag about it.
Sillyness.
Maybe he set his twitter timezone to Greenwich Mean Time?
The Rock smelled what BARACK was cookin’!!!
Fukkin’-A!!!!
He found out that Fast Five made over 80 million in it’s first weekend. If that didn’t shock the world, what would?
re @3…
Sorry. Somebody had to do it.
I heard it on Facebook first then turned on Al Jazeera (web) and listed to their newscast for an hour or so before Obama came on to make a statement. Al Jazeera was reporting it as a drone attack – the US networks seemed afraid to steal Obama’s thunder.
Speaking of people who didn’t wait for Obama’s announcement, this Wenatchee fellow made Hot Slut of the Day on dlisted! After 9/11 he vowed to quit shaving until bin Laden was killed or captured:

Lots of the media seemed to know. However, they either couldn’t “officially” announce anything on air or were trying to get other sources to verify because they’re “journalists”.
Was anyone watching CNN? Poor Wolf danced around the issue for a long time, basically say everything but “osama is dead”. And then all of a suddenly John King appeared and said, basically, “Osama is dead.” I think Wolf is still probably annoyed about that.
More stories about the Rock!
Dianne Feinstein apparently blabbed it while commenting at a memorial service earlier in the day. How that woman got elected would be a mystery, if I didn’t know that SF is full of well-meaning idiots.
My pretend husband, the Rock’s brother is a Navy SEAL; I imagine that is the way he heard so early on.
