You may have noticed that I have not reviewed Glenn Beck’s newest book. That is because it can’t even beat a sci-fi anthology on Amazon’s bestseller list. But the Pittsburgh Tribune-Review has just run an interesting indictment of Beck’s latest book:
Glenn Beck will promote his book “Broke: Restarting the Engine of America” with a $90.50-a-ticket performance Thursday at the Benedum Center in Pittsburgh’s Cultural District, a day after a book signing in Robinson. The show will be simulcast to 537 movie theaters across the country, where tickets cost $20.
So, basically: Glenn Beck will allow people to pay him almost a hundred bucks so he can tell them how broke they are.

Please never use this song to illustrate the concept of “irony” again. The most ironic thing about this song is that it shows that its author has no grasp of the meaning of that word.
She keeps using that word. I do not think it means, what she thinks it means.

Thank you CollegeHumor.com for correcting the song to be more actually ironic.

The definition of irony is lost on Alanis Morissette just as it is on Glen Beck. Quite apropos actually.
