You probably know Rachel Kessler best from her work with poetry performance groups the Typing Explosion and the Vis-a-Vis Society. Tonight, sheโ€™s debuting her brand-new memoir about being raised by Jesus freaksโ€”itโ€™s titled Christian Charm Workbook, which is a great nameโ€”with a multimedia performance and a handful of wonderful Seattle poets (including Stranger favorites Rebecca Hoogs and Sierra Nelson) whoโ€™ll be performing new work. Nights when the Seattle literary community comes out to celebrate the success of one of their own are always tremendously positive, happy occasions; you wonโ€™t want to miss this one.
