I get it. So it’s ok to attack a mentally ill person with some serious problems and anguish if she did something that can contribute to racism (though it ended up not, in the end, anyway). So, apparently, it’s ok to be a heartless asshole as long as you have a liberal excuse behind it. Not surprising from the stranger staff. At least everyone knows Fox News are a bunch of pricks.
I’d just like to point out that she eventually admitted that she applied drain cleaner–a strong alkali/base, not an acid–to her face, with a towel, not by splashing it.
Anyway, she has to live with having changed her relatively attractive face into one with ugly scars, and is furthermore facing felony theft charges (because she took money donated to her under false pretenses and then went on a shopping spree). I think that’s punishment enough. And yeah, rape is only funny when it happens to rapists. ‘Nuff said.

Yes, it is. Quite a few of the people whose convictions were overturned due to evidence provided by the “Innocence Project” were initially placed on death row due to “mentally unbalanced” victims. If someone is mentally unbalanced enough to throw away another person’s life, then (IMHO) they don’t really warrant too much sympathy. And there’s Mrs. Velarde…
