Actually it looks like commenter #1 may also never have read "New Column!" before.

does it matter how old he is? He's a misogynist woman hater. If LA Weekly and every other rag in town every hires him again they are promoting such things and should be ashamed of themselves. This "brand" is not going to thrive, be assured.

@4 Sometimes satire is the only option for shaming the shameless.

And when it doesn't accomplish that goal, at least it's entertaining to watch it go over their heads.
