Lucha Luna Album Release Party with Bloqueador Solar, KATANiiCA, and DJ La Mala Noche
There’s a new duo in town making Latin punk music with reggaeton beats. Lucha Luna, which is composed of local musicians Eva Vazquez of punk band Toxic Tears and Thomas Arndt of psych neo-soul group Day Soul Exquisite, releases their debut EP this Friday with a show in Pioneer Square. When my friend heard me listening to one of their tracks, they asked out of curiosity, “What is happening in this song?,” which speaks to their boundary-pushing, genre-bending sound. The duo is joined by pop-rock artist Bloqueador Solar, Latin electronic hip-hip duo KATANiiCA, and beloved local DJ La Mala Noche. Grab your dancing shoes for high-energy music guaranteed to inspire grooves. SHANNON LUBETICH
