If you’re someone who can’t stand sitting in complete silence but also gets easily distracted by sounds, you should give V.Vecker’s new album, Heavy Gestures, a chance. Composed with gentle saxophone, piano, and ambient electronics, the album is easy on the ears and not too linear or melodic to get lost in. He will celebrate the release of the new album with a meditative performance after opening sets from experimental drone project Medina/Walsh and ambient duo Noel Kennon and Kole Galbraith.
