LIVE MUSIC
Linda From Work, Dining Dead, Understater
Get stoked: Local garage rock/dance punk band Linda From Work wraps up a multi-week tour with a homecoming show at the Sunset. The quartet makes music “at the intersection of garage, glam and dance-punk,” delivering live performances full of electric guitar, powerhouse vocals, and headbanging. Dynamic art rock quintet Dining Dead and fuzzed out alt-rock trio Understater open the show, making for a night of music from groups full of badass women and femmes. Both Linda From Work and Understater have played Freakout Fest and Dining Dead performed at Capitol Hill Block Party last year, so I’m confident all three groups know how to get a crowd moving. This is the perfect show to launch you out of the work week and into the weekend. SHANNON LUBETICH
