FRIDAY

HALLOWEEN

CID Spooktacular Treats
Sure, the Seattle suburbs are great for collecting full-size candy bars. But for those looking for an actually unique Halloween experience, head over to the Chinatown-International District for a family-friendly candy crawl through local businesses. For much of the early afternoon, participating shops will hand out sweet treats to trick-or-treaters of all ages. No scares, no haunted houses, just some low-effort community charm. Plus, after stocking up on candy, the fun continues at Hoa Mai Park and Hing Hay Park, where you’ll find games, prizes, and plenty of ways to connect with neighbors. I can’t think of a better excuse to explore the CID and support local businesses. LANGSTON THOMAS
