It’s been A Week to say the least, so we’re more than ready to take a load off and then some. After you’ve decompressed, join us at cheap and cheerful events from Sea Mar Fiestas Patrias to the Fishermen’s Fall Festival and from Journey to Justice Tour: The Case Against Solitary Confinement to the last Beacon Arts Street Fair of the year. Old AF presents Back to School, Still Not Cool
Fully improvised, fully cheugy, and fully ready to roast the slang you do (or completely don’t) understand, the Old AF comedy series returns with a back-to-school-themed event for adults. This isn’t your usual improv night, though. Expect comedians to spin TikTok trends, Gen Z lingo, and all things “relevance” into scenes that prove that every generation is worth laughing at. Featuring local cast members Mia Iseman, Hannah Monson, Jaime Lazich, Zak Nelson, Sonia Dillane, Grant Scott, and Janelle Bentley, proceeds from the night benefit LGBTQ+ youth center Lambert House.
