Raspy-voiced legend Natasha Lyonne, the Emmy- and Golden Globe-nominated producer, actor, writer, director, and one-half of my current favorite girlypop video, will visit Seattle to talk shop with sci-fi writer Ted Chiang. I’ll show up in hopes that a sprinkle of the pair’s talent rubs off on me—Chiang has won four Hugo, four Nebula, and six Locus Awards, while Lyonne stars in Taika Waititi’s upcoming adaptation of Kazuo Ishiguro’s novel Klara and the Sun.
