OPENINGS

Assembly Coffee
Last fall, this Ballard coffee shop and artist space closedafter two years of business, but former customers Caroline Devine and Daniel Perez stepped in to purchase it. They reopened on Wednesday with a few minor changes, like the addition of pastries from Finales Bakery, prepackaged stroopwafels from the Stroop Club, and a rotating selection of coffee beans available for pour-overs and retail purchase.
