FOOD & DRINK SPECIALS

Bakery Nouveau
The venerable bakeshop’s crowd-favorite king cake, made with laminated brioche dough and rolled with apple and raisins, is festooned with gold and purple sugar and is now available by the slice or whole cake. Both offerings are available through Tuesday, March 4 and come with beads and a fève—a small trinket hidden inside the cake, so that the lucky finder can be crowned royalty for a day. On the big day, they’ll also serve up pillowy paçzki (Polish doughnuts traditionally served for Mardi Gras), whole or individual muffulettas, and twice-baked almond and chocolate croissants. All three shops will serve only these items for the day on Mardi Gras and will be open from 7 am1 pm.
