i hate almodovar SO MUCH, always have. yucky boring euro-pseudo-gay camp/slapstick/ick, and his more serious work (the one with the comas, etc.) is just tedious. from what i’ve read about the new one, other people are starting to agree.
i wish we could run what you just wrote as the review.
(Don’t worry, we’ll run a real review, at least a short one, by someone who’s actually seen the movie in next week’s paper.)
