oh, by the way, take the vingte mille to Cap d’Antibbes – some great restaurants on the east side of the cape you should eat at. The hotel’s vastly overrated, but the eating is tres magnifique.

no, it’s the sun and the ambiance. the paella isn’t as good in Nice as it is on the Cap, too. I usually just get a nice carafe or half of the house wine and enjoy the food with whomever I’m there with. But it is kind of fun to hang out with some of the film peeps. I’d avoid the fancy top line parties – they have such a class system at Cannes …
Maybe I had my hopes up, but I expected Lindy West’s 1000th blog post to at least have SOME mention of spiders in it.
