The French New Wave director is dead at 89.
He leaves behind a huge body of work, including Ma nuit chez Maud, which is as good a place to start as any if you’re interested. And if you like directors like Linklater, Hartley, or, hell, even Kevin Smith, you should be interested.

damn, I was waiting for his next trilogy. hear it was going to be the colors of Italy’s flag this time. Or Poland’s – not sure which.
