KARP’s influence on post-grunge hard rock in the Northwest is second only to maybe the Melvins’ (who KARP bassist/screamer Jared Warren has since joined). Few bands were harder or funnier than KARP, and their untimely demise still leaves a hole in fans’ souls. Bill Badgley, frontman for another highly respected Northwest rock band, Federation X, spent the last four and a half years producing a documentary on the revered trio, and the result will interest even folks who’ve never heard the music.
