REALITY SHOW TO FILM IN SEATTLE CLUB
SEATTLE, Washington (January 7, 2009)—”Gold Diggers” produced by David DeLay of Grandpa’s R.V. Productions and Josh Hodgins of Jh Productions both of Washington State, will be filming for DeLay’s reality show at Centerfolds this Friday. The reality show is an insider’s look into the bizarre and sometimes difficult world of Exotic Dancers; much like the shows “Deadliest Catch” and “Dirty Jobs”, as young women look to pay their bills, put themselves through school, all with hopes of one day landing a millionaire.
Like objectifying women? Like pigeon-holing them into stereotypes like “gold diggers”? Like exploiting difficult and sometimes painful lives for another mind-numbingly stupid television show?
Yay!
Reality?
Wouldn’t the story go more like “hot looking girls with mannish attitude seek to pay their lesbian lovers bills by bilking overweight married businessmen on vacation. Hold on to your kidneys as you see them get rolled and operated on in their hotel rooms”.
So this is like Grey’s Anatomy without all the surgery, right?
Wait a minute, isn’t Centerfolds the male strip club?
Filmed in a state where they don’t serve booze in the clubs? Weird. Seems like a Vegas strip club would be the path of least resistance to TV “reality” drama.

George Carlin’s idea for a reality show “Maniac on Drugs” was the best: Find a psychotic guy, give him a van, a gun, and all the drugs he wants and then set him loose in downtown manhattan.
