The last time I posted something about Man Vs. Food all you whiny commenters got pissed off because you think the show and its host, Adam Richman, represents everything that’s wrong with America. Well, you jerks, look who’s back!

Ewwww! He eats a lot of food! All at once! What a fucker! He’s the devil!

Shut up. He’s not eating like this every day, nor is he telling the rest of America to eat like this every day. It’s a TV show, not a way of life. I can’t wait for tomorrow’s premier.

  1. Not everything that is wrong but pretty much shows our obtuse attitude toward the rest of the world and it’s problems. He as an American is taking up 10 times the world’s resources instead of just 5 times….like the rest of us.

  2. @2 he could save even more resources by not apearing on tv. Think of all the resources involved in putting his image on our screens. I think a vegan on tv would involve 10 times more world resources than a meat eater alone at a bar.

  3. I think it’s FUN. It’s the kind of show you can’t possibly talk anyone into, because it really comes down to the charm of Adam Richman. I realized the other day that I watch it just because it’s fun to watch this guy do anything. He could probably host a show called “Man vs the DMV” and make it fun.

Another thing: Here’s a reality show not about glamorous-looking people in beautiful places, spending as much money as possible. This show glorifies that locally-loved greasy-spoon on the corner. No fancy logos, no giant corporations, no expensive items you suddenly want to put on your credit card. If anything, the show makes you want to get out to your local neighborhood spots, embrace your common man, and eat some great local food.

  4. Hey, think of all the resources he would save if he just killed himself and had his family compost him in the backyard. Hmmm?

  5. I think he visits some interesting places, but have to turn it off when he starts eating. M vs.F is still loads better than the glut of “OMG I’m in a foreign land and I’m TOTALLY gonna eat this weird thing (that no one except really old or poor or weird people here eat either)!”

  6. Yeah, way to tell those uptight sloggers to shut the fuck up because they are whiny bitches who don’t know shit….right?

Also, I like how it justifies my binge eating. Just sayin’

  7. My problem with Adam is not his gluttony, it’s just how rarely he actually conquers the challenge set before him. I think I’ve seen seven or eight episodes and he has gotten his name on the wall or whatever once. Once! And he has his own show?
    That being said, he is a lovable teddybear/giant six-year-old, so there’s that…
    I’m coming out in favor.

  8. I like him because he got stoned to the bejeezus in the back parking lot with Loud Adam before the Beth’s 12 egg omelette show. My kind of host.

  9. I care, I like Adam and hope this season focuses on more quirky or obscure challenges. There’s only so many giant burritos or hamburgers out there before it becomes repetitive. The hot Asian noodle dish and the habanero fritters were particularly entertaining.

  10. You tell ’em, Megan. I wish, however, that he had gone to the Wedgewood Broiler instead of Beth’s. THAT would have been hilarious.

  11. What a disgusting fat obese slob fuckface loser ignorant jackass pig dog man. Fuck that show and fuck that guy. The only way I would ever watch that is if it was a rerun of the time he either choked to death on a giant slab of ham, or died of a massive coronary on camera. Otherwise this bullshit is like Fox News to me. It doesn’t exist, and I’ve blocked it on my remote with a random four-digit code that I punched in with my eyes closed. And fuck Anthony Bourdain and Andrew Zimmern, too. Can the Travel Channel seriously not find something decent to air? I guess I’ll never know, since I blocked it, because all they show are fat disgusting slob heifer beefcow slag slackjaw pigfuckers stuffing their faces with garbage for kicks on the teevee. GOD, Megan, you seriously need to get a grip and develop some other interests.

  12. Anthony Bourdain isn’t fat, you sad sack.

Oh and in Season 1 Adam went 11 and 7 which gives him a .611 win percentage which means he won 60% of the time. Pretty respectable. I can’t begrudge the guy for getting paid to grease on TV. This is America. If you haven’t figured out your scam yet you aren’t trying hard enough.

  13. Absolutely love this show, keep blogging about it. If you’re looking for some other food challenges, as I was, I found this site: http://www.ibetyouwont.com that lists a new challenge every day. Some of them have been featured on Man v. Food, some have not, and some are just plain ridiculous.

  14. I can’t wait to see him start freaking out when his body goes numb and collapse on the floor from a massive coronary on camera. He’s a nice guy though. Like the show and yeah its America if you don’t like it you can get out or shoot yourself whatever.

  15. Man vs food is disgusting not cause it shows what’s wrong with America cause there is tons of thing wrong with America but because it’s not entertaining. It May just be me but I’m not into wasting my time on a tv show that spend the whole time showing an extremely fat man eat. I don’t know about the rest of you but that’s really disgusting to see a person try to eat 5 pounds or chicken wings in 30 minutes i might as well just go to a farm and stare at pigs.
