Ever since last night’s episode, when Kenley attempted to blame her hair-trigger bitchiness on having been “raised on a tugboat,” I can’t stop thinking about this song. Kenley is Pirate Jenny. (Even if you don’t who Kenley or Kurt Weill is, you should listen anyway, for Nina Simone is amazing, and kind of terrifying.)

Kenley is way cute, yes. I started out really liking her this season. But damn, every time she opens her mouth, I like her less and less. Enough so that I start disliking her clothes more than I would normally. She needs to grow up and get over herself.
Maybe Nina Simone is amazing (it’s true), but Threepenny Opera is the worst musical ever. Or one of the worst.
