Seattle quintet Theoretics have remixed Vangelis’s grandiloquent closing theme for Ridley Scott‘s classic 1982 sci-fi film Blade Runner, bolstering the chugging rhythm with staunch backbeats and mostly dispensing with the first 90 or so seconds of atmosphere-setting and brass fanfares. Nice replicant, guys. They say it’s “for all the nerds out there,” so I hope you appreciate it.
