Launching tonight at the revamped Egyptian, the 19th Seattle Lesbian and Gay Film Festival brings 11 days packed with state-of-the-art queer cinema from around the world. Tonight’s opening-night-gala screening: Back on Board, a new documentary on the pioneering LGBT athlete Greg Louganis, whose hard work and talent made him an Olympic diving legend before an HIV diagnosis sent him down a complicated new path. It’s a twisty, messy, fearlessly personal portrait of a one-of-a-kind American. Bonus: Greg Louganis and filmmaker Cheryl Furjanic will be in attendance. (SIFF Cinema Egyptian, 801 E Pine St, threedollarbillcinema.org, 7:30, $33 gala/$15 film only)
