Source Code is a big, dumb, flashy Hollywood number (from the makers of the spare and affecting Moon) that is about a million times better than it has any right to be. Doe-eyed rascal Jake Gyllenhaal wakes up on a Chicago commuter train and has eight minutes to save the day before the whole thing blows up. Luckily, using science, he gets to live those eight minutes over and over again until he gets shit right! Source Code is Quantum Leap meets Groundhog Day meets a train. Silly but fun. Lindy West was born an unremarkable female baby in Seattle, Washington. The former Stranger writer covered movies, movie stars, exclamation points, lady stuff, large frightening fish, and much, much more....

  1. Meh.

    Sucker Punch is/was better.

If you didn’t like Japanime and the like before, why did you think you’d like Sucker Punch?
