Cheer up! There’s no such thing as bad publicity, plus when Russell Brand’s molesting you for the paparazzi you probably could give a fuck about ET.
(h/t Dlisted)
I’ll peg the chances of that being an accident at just about zero percent.
Chris Colfer? Never heard of her.
@4 That sentence doesn’t make sense.
I saw an argument about this on another site, and someone that saw the original broadcast posted that this screen has been altered. So it wasn’t on accident. But it wasn’t Entertainment Tonight that did it. Or at least that was what some guy on the internet said, so it must be true.
@6, I watch a ton of television. I’ve seen more grotesque errors than I can count. Fox Soccer Channel can’t get through an hour without making one. Just yesterday I saw an ad for sports gear encouraging me to “get your’s today”.
But this is different. It’s targeted. It’s not a typo, it’s a joke, which means it’s a slur.
That picture with Russell Brand is a hoot! Almost as good as the Rolling Stone one…Chris Colfer makes the *best* “surprised” faces.
@8: Good call on Fox Soccer Channel – you’re right about the commercials and even more spot on if you add in the so-called commentary during the games – though I’ll admit that they have gotten a bit better. Still, there are certain ‘announcers’ on that channel that I can’t listen to (Max whose-last-name-I’ve-forgotten).
This is not humerous and is a large reason why kids are scared to come out to friends and family and why at least half of the entertainers in the world remain firmly closeted away. Grow up Entertainment Tonight (ET). And for the record the term actress is no longer applied to anyone regardless of gender. The term is actor.
@11, no longer applied by anyone except the Golden Globes, Oscars, etc. etc. But thanks for playing.
Considering the character was based on him, I’m just puzzled that he’s up for an acting award of any kind.
I think it was an inside joke that made it to air. This originally appeared on my website – check it out. You might like it!
