  1. I saw an argument about this on another site, and someone that saw the original broadcast posted that this screen has been altered. So it wasn’t on accident. But it wasn’t Entertainment Tonight that did it. Or at least that was what some guy on the internet said, so it must be true.

  2. @6, I watch a ton of television. I’ve seen more grotesque errors than I can count. Fox Soccer Channel can’t get through an hour without making one. Just yesterday I saw an ad for sports gear encouraging me to “get your’s today”.

But this is different. It’s targeted. It’s not a typo, it’s a joke, which means it’s a slur.

  3. @8: Good call on Fox Soccer Channel – you’re right about the commercials and even more spot on if you add in the so-called commentary during the games – though I’ll admit that they have gotten a bit better. Still, there are certain ‘announcers’ on that channel that I can’t listen to (Max whose-last-name-I’ve-forgotten).

  4. This is not humerous and is a large reason why kids are scared to come out to friends and family and why at least half of the entertainers in the world remain firmly closeted away. Grow up Entertainment Tonight (ET). And for the record the term actress is no longer applied to anyone regardless of gender. The term is actor.
