I’m sure no one will mind if you take a 15 minute break to watch old gameshows on YouTube, right? Right.
I always wanted to be on this show, and I was always convinced that what happened to this guy, would happen to me. In reality, I’d probably end up like that geeky Michael dude.
I wonder where that guy is now…
(Part two is here.)
Thanks, Reddit.

Well, Megan lucky for you we have this thing called “the Internet” – maybe you’ve heard of it? – it contains all sorts of fascinating information, right at the touch of a button:

he ended up dying of a heart attack while on the run from the law. A tragic tale, truly.
Certainly the ultimate example of pressing your luck.
Luck is not with most former game show hosts who have fallen to various misfortune, disease and even suicide. Host Peter Tomarken was killed with his wife in a small plane crash in 2006. “The NTSB determined that the crash could have been survivable if they had been wearing shoulder harnesses along with their seat belts.”
Of course everyone knows that misfortune was also in the future for Michael Larson:

Man, I loved all those 80s (and earlier) game shows. $25,000 pyramid, Classic Concentration, Password… good times.
Wow that guys life sucked.
