The cocktails at high-ceilinged, pretty-but-not-too-pretty Damn the Weather in Pioneer Square are excellent, thanks to local bar heroes Jay Kuehner and Bryn Lumsden. Then thereโ€™s the Caesar salad sandwich. From the mind of chef Eli Dahlin (formerly of the Walrus and the Carpenter), itโ€™s made with brioche fried in butter; the top of the sandwich has a circle cut out of it with an egg fried inside the hole (sometimes called egg-in-a-nest); the filling is especially lemony Caesar salad. Itโ€™s made with good, local stuff, and the circle from the bread-top rests alongside, draped with a silvery anchovy. Itโ€™s so good.
