Description: Vaguely upscale lodge-style eatery/drinkery in
Ballard.

Decor: A wall display of exotic beer cans, two
thrill-inducing Skee-Ball machines, and above the bar, the charmingly
deformed stuffed bobcat that previously graced Linda’s Tavern. (Linda
owns this joint, too.)

Creepy basement lore: According to the bar manager, several
years ago a man tumbled down the stairs and into a coma, which led to
his death.

Happy hour: Daily 5–7 pm.

Happy-hour drink specials: $2.50 wells, $2 pints/$5.50
pitchers PBR, $2.50 pints/$7.50 pitchers Stella Artois and micros (the
exceptionally lengthy selection includes Baron Pilsner, Hale’s
Kölsch, and New Belgium 2 Degrees Below).

Happy-hour food specials: $4.50 for three sliders, which come
topped with special sauce, onions, and pickles.
