Mission’s preferred tequila-transmission method: Tasty
margaritas—such as a Cadillac, which comes with a shot of orange
liqueur ($6, happy-hour price).
Elsewhere-in-the-world’s preferred tequila-transmission
methods: In Mexico, it’s sipped, not slammed, and comes with a
sangrita (a spicy blend of orange and tomato juices); in
Germany, shots are prepped with cinnamon, then followed with an
orange-slice chaser (!).
Happy hours: Daily 5–7 pm (drink specials) and 10
pm–midnight (food specials).
Happy-hour drink specials: $3 wells, $3 house wine, $3 drafts
(Dead Guy Ale, Blue Moon), $5–$6 specialty margaritas.
Happy-hour food specials: The $5 menu includes a taco plate,
steak skewers, and a molten chocolate cake.
