Winner Gets $200 Tab from Boom Noodle and Blue C Sushi

SEATTLE — May 11, 2009 — Boom Noodle and Blue C Sushi, having recently opened locations in Bellevue Square, are challenging fans of the restaurants to name the bar that connects the two restaurants. Up for grabs is $200 in gift cards good for use at Boom Noodle and/or Blue C Sushi.

The 1,600-square-foot mezzanine lounge is suspended above the Blue C and Boom Noodle spaces and offers a birds-eye view of both. It features a full bar, a menu with food from Blue C Sushi and Boom Noodle, and four Xbox gaming pods for play within a group or against others.

Submissions will be accepted at nameourbar@bluecsushi.com from Monday, May 11 to Friday, May 29. The winner will be chosen by an internal panel of judges from Boom Noodle and Blue C Sushi. The winning name will be announced on Monday, June 1.

    We have received a considerable number of entries from the general public so far, but I must say few carry the originality of “The Taint.” A bar with such a name deserves to be a stand alone establishment for sure. Pol Pot, whoever you are, you are deserving of some kind of special consideration prize. Thanks to everyone else for the encouraging words and ideas. They allow me to go have a few mid-day jager shots and lie down until the shaking stops.
