I would like to thank my employer for my family’s recent round of COVID-19. While they were vigilant enough to check for membership cards from people shopping there, they didnโ€™t seem to give a damn about the manager who was puking throughout their shifts last week.ย

They didnโ€™t care enough to send that person home. They didnโ€™t care enough to have that person wear a mask.ย

Now I have COVID-19. My partner has COVID-19. My kids have COVID-19. When I called and told you I was positive, I was told not to come in for five days. Great, love it. But, please explain: Why the fuck could you not ask that pukey manger to go the fuck home when they were actively telling people they were puking?ย

Everyone talks about how the benefits here are so great, but I just drained my vacation to cover my missed week of work from the COVID you allowed your manager to expose me and all your damn members to. I hope their soul-sucking jobs have vacation and more sick days for them to use, not like you give af.

  2. Oh my god, you guys! I got covid, but it’s not my fault! It’s my work’s fault for not sending someone home when they were puking! I take no responsibility for anything that happens to me! I then gave it to my partner and my kids.. wtf? Why didn’t my partner and my kids send me home? or make me wear a mask?! Now they’re going to give it to their partners and their kids!!!

  3. You can get a serious bout of COVID even if you’re up-to-date on vaccinations. It’s because only 15% of the population is completely up-to-date, diminishing vaccine effectiveness. COVID’s also a vascular disease – every infection stacks its effects on the body. Repeat infections – even if they begin in a “mild” way – means more serious disease and risk of long COVID with each subsequent infection.
