To the woman at self-checkout at Safeway who threw my basket down: Have some fucking patience.ย

You see me just finishing up checking out my things, I finish paying, I grab my receipt, I have yet to grab my items, and you push my basket ON THE GROUND? You couldn’t wait 10 seconds for me to step away to have your turn at the self-checkout? You just HAD to checkout while I’m still there? Fuck you. I wanted to push your stuff on the ground so bad.ย

You may have had a bad day, in a rush, whatever; that is a you problem. You looked to be in your fifties, so I assumed you knew better to do that. I hope your oranges were the worst oranges you ever ate.

  1. Iโ€™ve noticed recently that people increasingly like to block aisles with their carts while they wander off, and then get vexxed when you move them to get by.

  2. I like Safeway! That’s partially sentimental, but their loyalty program is great for saving money on gas – and their meat departments have screaming deals if you know how to shop.

  4. kristofarian dear, you know I despise Republicans in general, and trump is particular, but people being horrible to each other is nothing new. It’s been going on literally forever.

Just yesterday morning I witnessed an exchange between two women at the entrance to the Columbia Tower that involved use of the C word. For a moment I thought there was going to be hair-pulling.

  5. @5 You can save money on gas with any major grocery store’s loyalty program. You can save even more with those cashback apps. My mom, surprisingly, turned me on to Upside, which gives you 40+ cents per gallon back. I do not understand how they make money, but I don’t look a gift horse in the mouth..

I have also found the best screamin’ meat deals (band name?) at Kroger/Fred Meyer.
