You can hear it in tracks by Eric B. & Rakim, Digable Planets, N.W.A., Nas, De La Soul, Big Daddy Kane, EPMD—and even in cuts by current luminaries such as J. Cole and Joey Bada$$. The song's unstoppable funkiness is as undeniable as Richard Milhous Nixon's corruption.

With Donald J. Trump making Nixon look like a rank amateur in the malfeasance department, "Impeach the President" has undergone something of a resurgence in popularity among people who like a political message in their funk. I, for one, have been spinning it in nearly every DJ gig possible since TrumPutin stole the presidency in 2016, in the quixotic hope that its message will come to pass. Every little spin helps.

One more manifestation of "Impeach the President"'s renewed popularity is a new contest being held by Tracklib, which bills itself as "the record store for sampling"; the service offers over 70,000 tracks for legal sampling and licensing.
