If you’ve settled down after the emotional onslaught from Montage of Heck, brace yourself. Soaked in Bleach—the self-proclaimed “docu-drama” about Kurt Cobain—will hit Vimeo on Demand June 11. (All yours for the low price of $14.99.) Today, we got a new peek at the footage with the release of an additional trailer.
The film addresses conspiracy theories that Courtney Love plotted Cobain’s murder, relying heavily upon interviews with private investigator Tom Grant. (Apparently Kurt & Courtney didn’t do a sufficient enough job the first time around.) If you recall, former Seattle police chief Norm Stamper was included in the first trailer stating that he’d reopen the case if he was still in charge. However, Cobain’s death was reexamined by cold case detective Mike Ciesynski last April and he determined that the original ruling of suicide was correct.
I tend to distrust dramatic reenactments—even if Tom Grant is played by an actor who was in Grumpy Cat’s Worst Christmas Ever—but, hey. You be the judge.
