Expect a heady, wordy love-in tonight at Neumos, as two inimitable 21st-century music-makers share the stage. Bringing the laser-sharp alterna-folk-speak is Kimya Dawson, whose new solo record, Thunder Thighs, will soon be upon us and whose recent SXSW shows slayed all who saw them. Bringing the intricately cryptic hiphop verbosity is Aesop Rock, who joined Dawson for one of those awesome SXSW shows and who’ll be joined tonight by fellow MC Rob Sonic and DJ Big Wiz, his fellow players in the hiphop band Hail Mary Mallon, whose new album was just released by Rhymesayers.   1. It’s weird. Everytime I look at that photo of Kimya Dawson, I think it’s King Buzzo from the Melvins. It’s the hair that throws me off.
