Am I crazy, or was yesterday’s Black Sabbath show in Tacoma—part of their final (last-ever!) “THE END” tour—just perfectly perfect? I was worried about Ozzy, as he’d been canceling concerts for health reasons—but the ‘Prince of Darkness’ was more energetic than I’ve ever seen him. As he raced back and forth across the stage, doing his trademark (endearingly goofy) windmill hand-clapping, the audience around me collectively swooned. I thought the band played a flawless set. I wonder if the rest of the super-packed Tacoma Dome crowd would agree…
