If you can, you should absolutely spend the whole weekend at Bumbershoot. But if you can afford only one day (monetarily, physically, emotionally, etc.), Sunday is your winner. Not only will wonderful pop band the Promise Ring play their first Northwest show in more than a decade, but youโll also be able to catch sets from Mudhoney, Why?, Fruit Bats, Katie Kate, Fred Armisen, Brian Posehn, and SO MANY MORE! Plus, Tony Bennett on the main stage. Classy! (Seattle Center, www.bumbershoot.org, $45, 11 amโ11 pm, all ages)
