When Devo came through Seattle in 2009 to perform their first and third albums, they recaptured the phenomenal urgency, tensile strength, and robotic tunefulness of their early material. The exhilarating anxiety of it all still made sense. Devo’s newest album, Something for Everybody, contains more of their broad, pessimistic social commentary set to middle-aged dance rock; it’s better than expected but, unsurprisingly, not up to Q: Are We Not Men? standards.   1. You know, for that much, you could bitstream all their works and burn them onto DVDs.

    DVDs are what we used to use back in the dark ages, kidlings, before everyone stuffed music on their iPad or iPhone.

  2. Why bother suggesting events that are sold out., Are you just trying to rub it in the noses of people w/o tickets? Why don’t you promote a artist who actually needs/deserves promotional help.
