Finding this party took persistence—even with an iPhone. We circled the warehouse where online sex-toy purveyor Go Back to Bed (www.gobacktobed.com) was hosting its launch party three times before we finally figured it out and parked, only to be greeted by a sign with an arrow that said, “Follow the floodlights.”
But like some dimensional gateway to Sexville, after we walked in the tiny, nondescript door, we were greeted by ropes and suspension work, hired strippers giving lap dances, two open bars, and a sprinkling of blow-up dolls, both male and female, reclining on the scattered chairs and couches as if mingling with the crowd. A shirtless man investigated some blow-up titties, but when he saw my camera he scurried away. Miss September, one of the cofounders of Go Back to Bed, was wearing a gold sequined dress and shiny gold go-go boots, with her cell phone wedged in next to her calf. As the mother of 15-year-old twins (not present, of course), she said she was happy that the party was in a place where people didn’t have to worry about spilling anything. “Just party!” added Sex Kitty, the other sex-toy entrepreneur. “Party hard!”
My plus one and I were among the youngest people there (besides the lap dancers). People in their mid-30s to late 50s dressed in their sex-party finest—corsets, housecoats, heels—indeed, partying hard. They were drinking, dancing, getting tied up, shoving pink dildos in blow-up dolls’ butts, and putting my little baby hard-partying self to shame.

It was a fantastic shin dig. I think the whole VIP feeling and hard to find, out of the way venue was awesome!
The hosts were amazing! Two bars! Hookah and other surprises!
The Plastic was FANTASTIC, and there was definitely a young crowd.
Great Party! I hope GoBackToBed.com has a great hype from the launch. It was a fabulous launch idea. I hope they do it again. I have heard they will be doing one in LA, NYC, Chicago, Portland, San Francisco. Let us know if you hear anything further-

Miss October was the disco ball and Sex Kitty wore the pink polka dots, right? I was invited via Dr. Dicks blog- very fun. I didn’t get a chance to meet these lady entrepreneurs but think they have themselves a great thing going!
