Carlos Ruiz and his surreal,
somewhat ’60s-inspired
colored-marker posters have shown up in this column before. There’s a
black-and-white photocopy of this one out there that gets a little lost
in the crowd, but this original version is a good example of the
playfulness and smart color combinations that make his
posters—even the less than successful ones—stand out.
