Neumos blossoms into a melodic noise paradise with the return of Sebadoh, regrouped to bang out tracks from their well-loved/recently-reissued 1990s records Bakesale (home of the killer “Careful” and “Together or Alone”) and Harmacy. Rounding out the bill and bringing the “return to grunge” theme into the present: Quasi, whose 2010 Kill Rock Stars release American Gong finds the revered Portland duo reborn—with impressive and infectious vitality—as grungy noisemakers.
