The recently reconfigured and reopened Comet Tavern is hosting a DJ throwdown tonight featuring former Comet booker Michelle Smith (aka Mamma Casserole) and Triple Door talent buyer/drummer for the Fixers and Hard Roller Scott Giampino (aka DJ Self Administered Beatdown). Called Galactic Blast, the night will showcase both selectors’ extensive collection of garage, psych, funk, and soul records—including the jam below. Action starts at 9:30 and is free/21+.
