LEZBRO
It has been just about one full year since we here at the Homosexual Agenda (i.e., ME) have given any attention and/or love whatsoever to a spunky little event they call Lezbro. This is because I CAN DO WHATEVER THE HELL I WANT. And I didn’t want to. So. (A pity, but there you are.) But now I do want to, and therefore indeed I shall: Hey! Everyone! Look! Lezbro! LEZZZBRO! HOORAY! As always, the all-queerz high-octane dance event is held at the Wildrose where the livin’ is easy and the lesbians are high (on life!)—but don’t let that daunt you, dear penis-havers—and features the ever-so lurvely LA Kendall and DJ Tony Burns. But the really best good part? This time, the xxx-tra special guest is NOT Fannie Mea Darling from Portland (thank you, Jesus, I owe you one), but MC Queen Lucky, who is deeply fabulous, secretly Carla Schricker who owns the R-Bar, and who moonlights as a famous DJ called, um, MC Queen Lucky. EMERALD CITY SOUL CLUB
Soul? What the heck know I of soul? (I ask you.) Having sprang whole directly from the forehead of Satan himself, many consider me rather inexpert in such matters. So! Let’s turn to a completely trustworthy and at least partially ensouled expert who is obsessed with soul and its pursuant music genre (i.e., my boyfriend Anthonio): “I LOVE EMERALD CITY SOUL CLUB SO EFFING MUCH OMGz MY HEAD JUST EXPLODED BECAUSE OF SO MUCH SOUL LOVE OR SOMETHING!” (I’m paraphrasing.) Featuring an entire cavalcade of soul-drenched DJs, including my personal favorite, Nipper. Lo-Fi, 9 pm, $10, 21+.
TEA DANCE
I know! Let’s go to Pony’s Sunday tea dance today! It’s one of Pony’s best weekly events, and we haven’t been in ever so long, and it’s early, fun, and free. And it does make the Jesus baby so very angry, gay-dancing all over his sacred little day and all. And He’s just so damn cute when He’s mad! Featuring DJs El Toro and Freddy, King of Pants.
